Useful information starts with honest sourcing.
How we prepare gold guides, explain uncertainty and keep commercial messages separate.
Sources before claims
We prefer named primary sources, including standards bodies, official market institutions and original product documentation. Links at the end of articles let readers follow the information to its source. A publisher’s marketing claim is not treated as an independently verified fact.
We avoid unsupported forecasts, invented price data, fabricated credentials and personal investment recommendations. If a claim cannot be supported, it should be qualified or omitted.
Authorship and AI assistance
The Momentis Editorial byline identifies the publication’s team rather than a fictitious individual expert. Initial educational content was produced with AI assistance and grounded in the sources listed on each guide. It should be reviewed by the owner before the site is published publicly.
Illustrative AI-generated images are identified as such. An image of a gold bar is not an authentication document, a dealer endorsement or a product listing.
Dates and updates
Publication dates reflect when content was first prepared. Dates should only be changed when a meaningful editorial update is made. Price timestamps describe the data itself, not simply when someone refreshed a page. Material corrections should be recorded with the affected article.
Editorial and commercial boundaries
Sponsored content, advertising and affiliate relationships must be clearly identified if introduced. A paid placement must not be disguised as neutral analysis. Current commercial status is described on our Commercial Disclosure page.
