The current price-data status
No licensed live or historical gold-price feed is connected to this preview. We do not display a made-up quote, price change, chart or city-specific rate. A price-record schema exists, but there are no seeded prices.
Before enabling price data, the provider, redistribution rights, currency, unit, purity, quote type, update cadence and delay need to be documented. A retail or indicative quote must not be presented as an executable spot transaction.
What each data page should show
Published quotes must identify their source and as-of time. Unit, currency and purity must appear next to the number. Historical averages must be distinguishable from current quotes, and charts must use genuine data with stated coverage.
Weight-converter assumptions
The converter uses 1 troy ounce = 31.1034768 grams, 1 kilogram = 1,000 grams and the conventional 1 tola = 11.6638038 grams. A tola is one-twelfth of a troy pound. This is a unit conversion, not a measurement or appraisal of a gold item.
Rounding is for display only. The tool does not calculate purity-adjusted metal value, dealer premiums, taxes or investment returns.
